There is always space for you and your canine companion thanks to the ample off-street parking (though it may be scarce during school events).

Even though it may not be as immaculately manicured as some Association-run parks, it is clear that the neighbourhood takes great delight in looking after and enhancing this canine sanctuary. O’Shea’s and Flanagan’s Ale House, two nearby businesses, willingly donate their time and resources to help maintain the park. Everyone pitches in to keep the big jugs of that clean Louisville tap water full, and the water situation is cooperative. There is no need for dog fights over water because there are numerous large drinking bowls available.

The park is lovingly furnished with picnic tables and cosy Adirondack chairs, all of which are tucked away under a canopy of trees that provide much-appreciated shade. The lack of grass, which has mostly been replaced by loose soil and wood chips, doesn’t really take away from the experience. Just be ready for little mud puddles when the puppies all catch the zoomies.

The park is perfect for social canines but less good for those with anxiety or low social skills because of how busy it can get during peak times (early in the morning, lunch, and after work).
